Just a Salt Lake City family

We've had this cabin for more than twenty years, and we still rent it out ourselves.

The cabin has belonged to one family from Salt Lake City for over two decades. No management company, no agency, no booking desk in another state. When you get in touch, you're reaching the people who actually own the place.

That's why there's a phone call built into how we do this. We like talking with people before they come up. You get to ask about the drive, the canyon, whether the grandkids will be alright in the loft, and we get to know who's going to be at our cabin. It takes ten minutes and it's the friendliest part of the whole thing.

Who we are

Placeholder

[Owner names and a short hello from the family will go here.]

We've kept the cabin close to how it was built in 1945, because that's the part we love about it. The pine walls, the stone fireplace, the old stove and fridge in the kitchen that still do their job after eighty years. We look after it all year so that somebody can show up in July, open the windows, and not think about a single bit of it.

How we rent it

We rent the cabin directly and we rent it by the week, Monday to Monday, mostly to families who settle in for a week or two at a stretch. Every booking starts with you sending your dates, moves to a phone call with one of us, and finishes with a simple written rental agreement.

The cabin is in a private gated community, so we don't post the street address or a map anywhere on this site. Once your booking is confirmed, we send you the exact address and directions.
